My eldest daughter loves her cup of hot chocolate and a good book. Her books always take her away to the uncharted places of her imagination. She always comes back to the here and now with a new picture to paint or a new dragon to create. Her set up looked so wonderful that I recreated the mood and also included a large stack of books on the back of the quilt to make sure that no one gets bored and everyone can go off the beaten path!
Cotton fabrics were used to create the quilt with hand piecing, English paper piecing with raw edge and hand appliqué. Hand and machine quilting and some marker pens were used to complete it.
