Avril Horn The Sea Does Not Like To Be Constrained...
My quilt is based on the colours of marine navigation charts. It envisages the uncharted waters that we find ourselves in due to climate change and the destruction of our environment, caused by our unthinking behaviours. Ribbons of increasingly unproductive, fragile land may be all we have left once sea levels rise. We will be reliant on threads of connection across empty voids in our society. Individuals, and groups that cannot find those threads, will be lost to the oceans. Support The Green Party, XR, Friends of the Earth and The Good Law Project!
