Watershed

The thin blue line is a watershed.  It changes the direction of hopes, ambitions, emotions and feelings.  It is a very significant force which has repercussions for geology, humanity and individuals.  It is a static line, but in its immobility lies its strength.  The other lines react to its presence and change their direction, colour, mood and movement. 

 

Machine pieced using hand-dyed and commercial fabrics.  Machine quilted
