It's a Scorcher
The design came from a paper and pastel exercise with Sue Dove at a CQ Summer School. It was the hottest day of the year – hence the stencilled words. Background is painted with thickened Procion dyes and the shapes and strips are bonded on.
Free machine quilted with a variegated rayon thread. Back |
