Gleam

This is one of a series of quilts inspired by my local landscape.  I enjoy following the same path through the woods, observing the change in seasons; there is something reassuring, despite the ever current concerns about global warming, in tracking the cycle of the year through decay and regeneration.  the title refers to the way the sunlight can illuminate and enhance foliage.


100% cotton, dye paint, discharge, soy wax resist.  machine pieced and quilted.
