Summer

Bright clean colours remind me of a clear summer’s day, sun, sea and sand.  This was my first hanging using a Janome embellisher, a machine which meshes layers of fabric together without using thread, including the felt at the bottom of the piece.


The whole wall hanging was constructed without threads, then machined afterwards.  The thin blue line was made by coiling strips of machine felted woollens.
