Eureka Moments

My Inspiration came from scientific 'breakthroughs' that have influenced our lives for the better.  It was difficult to choose so few but they are: Marie Curie, Charles Babbage, Michael Faraday, Alexander Fleming, James Watson and Francis Crick.


Portraits: digitized photos embroidered by machine. 
Frames: stitched and painted pelmet Vilene. 
Background images: printed on fabric, cut up and fused behind black organza using black Mistyfuse.
Outer frame: table protector painted, stitched and shaded using Fabrico pens.
Machine quilted.
