Just Love Tulips

I am still intrigued by tulips and their shapes.  Growing tulips is a battle every year with ‘munching squirrels’ but I persevere!  My drawings are my starting point – I put the images into my computer, manipulate them with filters, change the colours and then print onto transfer paper. 
 

Cut out and ironed onto hand-dyed cotton.  Machine embellished with variegated rayons and a touch of paint here and there!
