A Stream in the Rain Forest

An imagined scene of dense tall trees, colourful lianas and blossom, spectacular birds.
 

Silk and cotton scrap fused onto Vilene, free machine sewn.  Cut, re-assembled and fused onto black cotton.  Applique birds transferred onto white felt, painted with acrylics.  Applied by hand.  Machine and hand quilted.
