Split Asunder

I have been making felt for over 20 years and the process is still giving me inspiration and ideas. I have been dyeing fabric and wool for over 30 years and I love this part of the work. Good colour, whether bright or subtle, is always appreciated.

This quilt was inspired by rock strata on the Welsh border.

Handmade wool felt with cotton appliqué, dip dyed after construction.
